Year 1 2017

Miss Newboult - Year 1 Class Teacher

I'm the teacher in Year 1 Miss Newboult. I have just started working at Kingston Park this September and I was welcomed by all. I am very much looking forward to starting my teaching career at Kingston.

When I'm not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel and to visit new places. On rainy days you can usually find me baking a cake, reading a book or playing board games.

Mrs Davies - Teaching Assistant

My name is Mrs Davies. I have been working at Kingston for three years now. I am married with four children and in my spare time I love cleaning and spending time with my family.

Not many people know this, but I am also a qualified hairdresser.  I absolutely love my job helping children and watching them grow into fantastic individuals.

For our topic this half term we will be putting on our masks and capes and learning about superheroes in society. There will be a big focus on real life superheroes and how they help us.

We will be building on skills taught in the foundation stage as we use of superhero senses to help us with our classroom challenges.

Superheroes need to keep fit so in PE this term we will be looking at dance and movement. Are you strong like Mr. Incredible? Can you stretch like Mrs. Incredible? Can you run like Dash?
